Punishment

At the dinner table (this was a few days ago), Titus disobeyed me.
(I told him not to stick his hand in his glass of milk and he did it anyway.)
Anyhow, he just flat-out went against what I said.
So I asked Matt to step in.
Matt went over and crouched beside Titus
and actually asked him what he should do.
I waited, wondering what Titus would say.
Matt thought Titus would say "a little spanking" or something like that.
Titus was quiet for a moment and then quietly
(and very seriously) said, "Tickle me."
Matt and I looked at each other.
And then because we were looking at each other
we couldn't hold it anymore and we laughed.
Titus smiled, because we were laughing.
Matt said "okay" and tickled Titus.
Titus, very seriously, said, "Ouch."
Matt told him that would only work one time.

I still don't know if Titus really thought that was a viable punishment.
I kind of think that he did.
Hahaha, son.
