Kali's Hair

Once upon a time, Kali got sick.  And as she lay around our home, we did not remember to brush her hair.

On the third day, this was discovered:

I don't know if you can see it, but it is a mat.  A big one.  That could not be detangled.

And so her hair would need to be trimmed evenly.  Goodbye gorgeous ringlet curl.

Here is a different picture after brushing to better show the unevenness.

And since there was a deal on haircuts at the grand opening of a new Great Clips in town--because when a new business opens you always want it to be a second location of a business you already have--we went.  

So stoic.

FYI, Kali got a haircut.
